Great shots. We had a Samoyed for 13 years until she developed an illness and had to be put down. to this day it still brings tears when I see a Sammy with the same rounded face as she had. We have considered getting another pup but have had too many things going on to devote the time needed for a young pup. Have thought of the Rescue idea, but not sure where to locate a good dog. Great Site, I stumbled over it when I was at the Samoyed Resuce site. I recognised the dogs from an earlier picture in a Calgary paper that I clipped out. My wife and I had two samoyeds, our last one we had to put down a month ago at 12 years. His brother 3 years older was closer to 13. My wife says she's not quite ready for a new samoyed. She also seems to think she'd rather have a puppy. I understand you would be the Alberta rep for the Samoyed rescue site. Please keep us in mind of any samoyed in need of rescue or preferably a Samoyed puppy in the need of a good home. Our previous dogs were not registered (showing them doesn't interest us) from a woman in Camrose AB. Unfortunately he doesn't breed them anymore. Regards, Dan MacLeod Charleswood, Calgary

Hi Guys, Just to drop you a line to say hello. Mainook is doing really well. Growing into his own and maturing nicely.I was going to show him at the specialty in November but our handler is not well. He will have produced his first litter in November.A breeding with the bitch from with the Europeon breeding. It will be a interesting combo. Will keep you posted. Beautiful site, but the puppy cam didn't work with my computer. Love the "don't buy a sam" article - every prospective pet owner needs to read that in regard to a pet they are considering (even cats and hamsters - for some people, I'd include the house plant!)
